Luang Por Pern Tithakuno

Luang Phor Pern Tithakuno was born on Sunday 12 August B.E. 2466 in Nakhon Pathom. He was one of eight children of his parents – Fok (father) and Yuang (mother) Purahong.

In his teenage years LP Pern’s family moved to Supanburi province. During this time he became a true highway man who sought after teachers in order to teach him magical spells for protection that can be used in physical combat. Thus LP Pern would become a student of Luang Phor Daeng of Wat Tong Kork. LP Daeng was a direct disciple of Luang Phor Nong who practiced Kammathan.

LP Daeng taught LP Pern many Wicha and how to apply them. Although LP Pern’s intentions at first were perhaps not truly Buddhist (in the sense that he was more interested to acquire skills in magic), yet LP Daeng still had faith in the young LP Pern in regard to his promising future as a Buddhist monk. After a few years of training during his teenage years under LP Daeng’s guidance, he would eventually move back to Nakhon Pathom where he would join the army in his early twenties.

When he was in the army LP Pern met Luang Phor Him Intachotoh, the abbot of Wat Bang Phra at that time. LP Him taught LP Pern about sak yant that had been passed on from generation to generation. As soon as LP Pern’s military duties and service had expired he decided to ordain as Buddhist monk and pick up the study he learnt from LP Him. His ordination would take place on 23 May in B.E. 2491 at Wat Bang Phra, and LP Him would be LP Pern’s ordination instructor (Pāli: upacaya).

LP Pern would stay at Wat Bang Phra for about four years. In this time he continued his studies from LP Him. During that period of time LP Him’s health slowly decreased and LP Pern would look after his teacher’s condition. When LP Him eventually had passed away LP Pern decided to leave Wat Bang Phra in order to find a new teacher and to be able to practice tudong in the forest.

At that time Nakhon Pathom province was full of practitioners of black magic, and a lot of gangsters who always had shown interest in the knowledge of spells and sak yant. Soon he would meet Luang Por Opasi of Wat Rungsri and asked him to become his teacher. LP Opasi agreed to his request and so it happened that LP Pern would receive further instructions in the Dhamma from LP Opasi for a period of one year. When that year passed LP Pern had been advised to continue his search for other teachers as well, and thus he left Wat Rungsri to go on tudong again. This time (somewhere around B.E. 2496-2504) he went to Kanchanaburi and from there he travelled through the Tranaosri mountain across the Thai-Burmese border.

Then, in B.E. 2505, LP Pern had returned again from his forest wanderings and showed up at Wat Tong Kork in Kanchanaburi. Since he had been gone for so long many people came to visit LP Pern at Wat Tong Kork. At that time LP Pern was offered the position as abbot of this temple, to which he complied. LP Pern managed to rebuild and develop Wat Tong Kork in a period of time as short as two years. Soon after all construction work was done LP Pern left the temple to go on tudong once again. After two more years of forest wandering his next stop would be at Wat Koak Kema in Nakhon Pathom. Here, in B.E. 2509, a similar scenario would take place as had happened previously at Wat Tong Kork: LP Pern would become abbot, this time of Wat Koak Kema. It was in this temple where LP Pern’s first batch of amulets (such as Phra Somdej loi ongk; Phra Sangkajjai; and several Rian) were made.

LP Pern soon would become well-known, not only for his amulets, but more specifically for his sak yant. Later, LP Pern received a royal monastic entitlement from the King, and became abbot of Wat Bang Phra only a few years after that. From that time on many people went to visit Wat Bang Phra in order to receive sak yant from LP Pern that led to a further increase of active practice of the ancient tradition into the newer generation.

LP Pern passed away on 30 June in B.E. 2545 at the age of 79.
Nowadays Wat Bang Phra has even become known internationally with thousands of disciples from all over the world.

Luang Phor Koon, Wat Banrai, Nakhon Ratchasima

Luang Phor Koon was borned on Thursday, 4th October BE2466. He was raised in a well off family. His grandfather was an influential person and very well-known in Nakon Raatchaseemah province. He also known to have Wichah (magic power), and many people were afraid of him. When Luang Phor Koon was 7 years old , his grandfather brought him to study Thai and Pali under Ah Jahn Cheum, Ah Jahn Saai and Pra Ah Jahn Lee in a temple near his house.

Luang Phor Koon was ordained as a monk at the age of 21 years old at Wat Thanon HakYai on 5th May BE2487. Pra Kru Wijahn Dtigit was the preceptor. Pra Kru Atigahn Torng Suk was his dhamma teacher. His monk's name is Pisuttoh.

Luang Phor Koon stayed in Wat Thanon HakYai to study dhamma, in addition Luang Phor Koon also learned under Luang Daeng Wat Nong Poh. He learned dhamma, sammahdti and Wichah (magic) from Luang Phor Daeng. Luang Phor Koon was very diligent when studied under Luang Phor Daeng. Seeing that Luang Phor Koon was so keen in learning, Luang Phor Daeng brought Luang Phor Koon to meet Luang Phor Kong who was the abbot of Wat HatYai. Then, Luang Phor Koon became the disciple of Luang Phor Kong.

Luang Phor Kong was a Pra Tudong (forest monk) and brought Luang Phor Koon to Tudong (forest dwelling). Besides dhamma and sammahdti, Luang Phor Kong also taught Luang Phor Koon Wichah (magic) on inserting Dtagru into a person's arm.

After learning from Luang Phor Kong for some time, Luang Phor Koon went Tudong alone. He went as far as Laos and Cambodia. He stayed in the deep forests of Laos and Cambodia for many years. During the rainy season, if Luang Phor Koon was near town, he would stayed in any one of the temple near town to Khow Pansah (rainy season for a monk to stay indoors), if he was still in the forest, he would stay in the forest and continue his Tudong.
Luang Phor Koon returned to Thailand after more than 10 years of Tudong, and reside at Wat Bahn Rai, Nakon Raatchaseemah. The first time, Luang Phor Koon came to Wat Bahn Rai, the temple was in bad condtion. There was only a old Salah (shether), Bot (hall) and Guti (place where Buddha Statue will be placed).

Luang Phor Koon seeing that was determined to re-build this temple. He approached the abbot of the temple at that time, and asked him for his help. The abbot told him that the temple did not have much fund (only 10,000 bahts) and asked Luang Phor Koon how much money he needed to re-build the temple. Luang Phor Koon replied that he needed 3 to 4 million bahts. When the abbot heard that, he said that he had no ability to help, though it was his duties. Luang Phor Koon, then asked the villagers and his lay disciples to source for fund. Many people came forward and helped. The total fund collected was almost 2 million bahts and Wat Bahn Rai was re-built.

Luang Phor Koon was gradually gaining popularity in Nakon Raatchaseemah. Whenever, people heard Luang Phor Koon wanted to build a temple or a school, many people would come forward to help. Luang Phor Koon had built many schools, temples and hospitals in Nakon Raachaseemah.

The devotees who go to Wat Bahn Rai, be it rich or poor, Luang Phor Koon will meet them personally and bless them. He would specially make time for the poorer devotees, because to Luang Phor Koon, the poorer devotees need to earn a living, and thus their time is more precious comparing to the richer ones who had already have a stable livelihood.

Luang Phor Koon chanted the most amulets in Thailand. Many temples and people would create the amulets and asked him to bless. He seldom rejected anyone when come to him for blessings. Luang Phor Koon is very good in the Wichah of inserting DtaGru. He would personally insert the Dtagru under the arm of the devotees, these Dtagru are very well proven to protect a person from accidents, Metta and as well as Kong Grapan (immunity from weapons).

Almost 20 years, Luang Phor Koon had chanted and inserted Dtagru, but now Luang Phor Koon had stopped due to poor health. However, he will still meet and bless the devotees who go to Wat Bahn Rai to pay respect to him.

Luang Phor Choo Phra Khun Paen Gua Poh 2528

Original Pong Praai Guman (LP Tim Wat Lahanrai) and Pong Jindamanee in the base

Sacred Amulets

Khun Paen Gua Poh BE.2528 – The elephant power amulets
The ancient sacred Khmer science to create these amulets was known by just a few monks, however the arcane knowledge is unfortunately thought to have died along with LP Choo.

The special formula used in his amulets requires the use of wax secretion from an elephant penis. Many have tried to obtain this and have been seriously injured in the process. LP Choo had mentioned that you have to possess the sacred knowledge of obtaining this charming wax. That is one of the reasons that you cannot acquire amulets based on this science any more and that makes these amulets so unique.

These amulets are not as well known as other sacred love amulets available in the market as it is because they were never promoted in media. Over the years, they have come to the attention of many and the number of available pims are found to be extremely rare. But surprisingly these pims are still affordable, when available.

Composition

Other than the secretion of Goh Poh collected from mature male bull elephants, over 1,000 different types of sacred powders were acquired to create the ultimate love amulet. This includes Plaai Guman powder donated by LP Tim from Wat Lahanrai, collected several years prior. This is genuine pure powder, not a dubious trace quantity as used in many modern day amulets.

-Gua Poh, wax obtained from fierce bull elephants
-Elephant’s penis
-Sacred powder ground from female elephant’s ivory
-Pong Plaai Guman powder of Luang Phor Tim from Wat Laharnrai
-Jindamani powder of Luang Poo Gaew from Wat Laharnrai
-Saboolerd powder (made of a type of Thai plant)
-sacred powder of Jaokun Norn from Wat Benjamabopit
-Gold leaf from Luang Phor Sotorn, the sacred Buddha Image of Chacherngsao province
-Over 1,000 other different sacred powders
-Sacred sand of 32 monks
-Mai Kalong powder made from a species of Thai plant

Luang Phor Choo

Without doubt one of the most powerful, if not the most powerful love amulet ever created. Own one of these amulets and you will be amongst a privileged few and that is not an exaggeration.
Luang Phor Choo of Wat Hin-lekfai, Surin Province, was very famous throughout the region for his powerful amulets that could increase worshipers’ charm and sex appeal.

Before he was ordained, LP Choo practiced as a Master of  Sacred-Sciences and have studied extensively ancient Khmer black magic. He is specialist in the knowledge of love amulets and charms and that brought him considerable notoriety. It was said that he had helped countless people achieve love through his magic and was even rumored that he had many wives and lovers himself.

At some point in his life, he made the decision to become a monk and learn Dharma. A decision that changed his life forever, as he remained in the priesthood for the remainder of his life. Despite his change in circumstances his special powers were never forgotten and was approached frequently to help those in need.
